Curativity Brand Solutions has been appointed as the creative partner for Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, marking a strategic shift to category-led branding. The collaboration aims to enhance consumer engagement, strengthen brand identity, and deliver distinctive, impactful communication in a competitive market.

 

Independent creative agency Curativity Brand Solutions has been appointed as the creative agency partner for Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd (GOLIL), marking a significant move as the company transitions its branding strategy. Under the new mandate, Curativity will lead the brand’s creative direction and strategic communication initiatives.

The appointment comes at a critical juncture for Gulf Oil Lubricants India as it shifts from a master brand approach to a category-led positioning. This strategic evolution is aimed at strengthening its presence in the business-to-consumer segment and enhancing engagement with its expanding customer base.

Curativity Brand Solutions, founded by Virat Tandon and Amer Jaleel, both former leaders at MullenLowe Lintas Group, will be responsible for crafting distinctive and impactful brand communication. The agency’s proprietary framework, described as “Ownable Distinctiveness,” played a decisive role in securing the mandate.

Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Oil Lubricants India, highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating that Gulf Oil remains one of the most recognized brands with a strong legacy. He emphasized the company’s ambition to scale further in the consumer segment by bringing meaningful differentiation to its communication. He added that the collaboration with Curativity is expected to translate business intent into compelling creative direction, enabling customers to connect more closely with the brand and its promise while strengthening engagement with all stakeholders.
